Police: Teenagers steal two cars, one crashes into squad car

Avalanche Canada says a Saskatchewan man was killed Friday on Mount Temple, the highest peak in the Lake Louise, Alta., area.

Speaking at a Toronto Police Services Board meeting, police Chief Myron Demkiw called the charge “unprecedented,” noting the “very high threshold” to charge anyone with a hate propaganda offence.

The advisory was issued after a 787 went into a dive this week on a flight between Australia and New Zealand, injuring 50 people.
