Mikaela Shiffrin: American returns from six-week injury lay-off to clinch slalom title

One of two teenage boys accused of killing Emma Lovell during a home invasion in 2022 has pleaded guilty to her murder.

The 63-year-old, who has been mayor since 2012, made the announcement at Halifax City Hall in a tearful speech where he called the mayorship “the best job I ever had.”
